My Favourite Writer (M. Lermontov)

One of Russia's most celebrated poets of all times, Michael Lermontov was born in Moscow in the family of a nobleman. He spent his childhood and youth in Tarckany, in the province of Penza.

In 1830 Lermontov entered the Moscow University, but very soon he had to leave it. Then he entered St. Petersburg School of Cavalry Cadets. He finished it and served in the Hussar Regiment of the Imperial Guard.

In 1837 the poet was exiled to the Caucasus for his poem "Poets Death". In 1840 Lermontov was exiled to the Caucasus for the second time. He was provoked into personal quarrel with his schoolmate. The quarrel led to a duel. On July 15th, 1841 the poet was killed. He was not even 27 at that time.

Lermontov began writing when he was very young. One of his first writings to be published was his verse tale "Hadji Arbek".

But he won fame as a poet after his poem "Poets Death" was published. Lermontov's poems "Demon" "Mtsyri" his great novel "A Hero of Our Time" and his play "Masquerade" are masterpieces of Russian literature.

Whether he wrote poetry, drama or prose, the stamp of his genius was to be found on his works. Lermontov's influence as of a poet and a thinker on all Russian writes can't be overestimated.

If you like to travel same like me, you would like to visit as many places as possible. Some countries are popular because of the nature and picturesque places, some countries are full of museums and historical monuments. I like everything: lakes, rivers, shops, museums, monuments and of course to meet new people.

Well France is a country with beautiful nature and long interesting history. If you come here at least once you will sure fall in love with all the towns and villages.

The territory of France extends from Mediterranean Sea to English Channel and from Atlantic Ocean to Rhine. The capital of France is Paris. Official language is French. But there are so many nationalities live here: Afro-Americans, Turks, Americans, Asians and many others. So you can also understand that religions here are also different: Christians, irreligious, Muslims, Jewish. The actual president is Emmanuel Macron. The population of the country is almost 68 million of people. And don’t forget about the tourists who come here every single day.

So Paris is the most popular town. It is full of monuments, old and new buildings, cathedrals and beautiful streets. The most popular places are Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Palace of Versailles, Notre-Dame de Paris. Of course the last news about the fire in Notre-Dame de Paris is so awful. The cathedral is so old and unique, that it was a disaster for the whole world, not only Europe. But I was lucky to see this fantastic place few years ago.

France is beautiful in any season. But I think spring or autumn here is so much charming and romantic. I am sure I will go back again here in future with my friends. And I advice you to pack your luggage and go to travel, when we are still young and full of energy.

Если вы любите путешествовать также сильно, как и я, вы, конечно, хотели бы путешествовать, как можно больше. Некоторые страны известны своей природой и живописными местами, а некоторые - полны музеев и исторических памятников. Мне нравится все: озера, реки, магазины, музеи, памятники и, конечно, встречать новых людей.

Франция - это страна с красивой природой и длинной интересной историей. Если вы приедете сюда хотя бы раз, вы обязательно влюбитесь в эти города и деревни.

Но живет здесь много разных национальностей: афро-американцы, турки, американцы, азиаты и многие другие. Наверное, вы понимаете, что и религии тут разные: христиане, атеисты, мусульмане, евреи. Настоящим президентом является Эммануиле Макрон. Численность населения составляет почти 68 миллионов человек. И не забудьте о туристах, которые приезжают сюда буквально каждый день.

Итак, Париж - самый популярный город в стране. Тут множество памятников, старых и новых сооружений, соборов и красивых улиц. Самыми популярными местами считаются Эйфелева башня, Лувр, Версальский замок, Собор парижской богоматери. Конечно, последние новости о пожаре в Нотр-Дам - это настоящий ужас. Собор этот очень старый и уникальный, поэтому пожар стал трагедией всего мира. Мне посчастливилось увидеть это фантастическое место своими глазами несколько лет назад.

Франция прекрасна в любую пору года. Но я думаю, что осень и весна особенно очаровательны и романтичны тут. Уверена, что вернусь сюда снова в будущем со своими друзьями. И вам я советую собрать свой чемодан и отправиться в путешествие, пока вы молоды и полны энергии.
