Reading plays a very important role in the life of people. it educates a person, enriches his intellect. books help to mould a person's character, from his moral values. besides, books bring pleasure and delight. it's a wonderful way of spending spare time. sometimes we read the same book again and again. thanks to books we learn to express our thoughts and feelings more exactly. the book is faithful and understanding friend. it can be put aside and taken up again at any moment. there are books which have been our favourites since childhood. people are fond of reading different kinds of books. some people enjoy reading detective stories, adventure stories, novels, biographies, other prefer classics. fairy tales are enjoyed and read by children, books about adventures and journeys are enjoyed by those who are fond of travelling. legends and myths are read by those who are fond of history. some people developed much time to reading books and reading becomes their free time occupation, their passion. through out the centuries books had an enormous influence on the minds and hearts of people. books bind together ages, personalities. thanks to books we can talk to people who lived in different countries and ages. through reading books we hear their voices, thoughts and feelings. the book is the surest way to bring nations together. it helps people achieve understanding, trust, cooperation and friendship. books awaken the young reader's imagination. they develop literary taste, arouse interest and curiosity, the reader's laugher as well as his tears. they teach the readers to be truthful, friendly, honest decisive, conscientious, frank, firm, fair and serious перевести текст точно, контрольная по нему будет

My name is . i’ve been fond of cartoons from the very childhood and i still like watching some of them. i think, cartoons entertain us and keep us busy for some time, which is good for our parents. my parents also like cartoons. they sometimes watch them with me. my favourite cartoon is “tom and jerry”. it’s not too childish, so people of all ages can watch it. the main characters of this cartoon are the cat tom and the mouse jerry. each time tom sees jerry, he tries to catch him, but unsuccessfully. jerry is a little, smart mouse. he gets away with any prank. the reason, why i like this cartoon more than others, is its kind and funny plot. each time i watch it, it makes me smile and laugh, so good mood for the day is provided. when i was younger, i also watched “tom and jerry”. knowing that i’m fond of this cartoon, my mum often bought me various thematic items. for example, a plate or a t-shirt with tom and jerry picture. i can’t say i liked tom’s character more than jerry’s, or vice versa. i liked both these characters, as they were good in their own way. tom often gets in stupid situations while chasing a tricky mouse and that makes me feel sorry for him. jerry’s mission is not to get caught, because if he does, the cat will probably eat him.  **************************************************** меня зовут я люблю мультфильмы с самого детства, и я все еще смотрю некоторые из них. я думаю, что мультфильмы развлекают и занимают нас на некоторое время, и это полезно для наших родителей. мои родители также любят мультфильмы. они иногда смотрят их вместе со мной. мой любимый мультфильм - «том и джерри». он не только детский, так что люди всех возрастов могут его смотреть. главные герои этого мультфильма: кот том и мышь джерри. каждый раз, когда том видит джерри, он пытается поймать его, но безуспешно. джерри - маленький, хитрый мышонок. ему сходит с рук любая шалость. причина, по которой я люблю этот мультфильм больше остальных, кроется в добром и веселом сюжете. каждый раз, когда я смотрю его, он заставляет меня улыбаться и смеяться, так что хорошее настроение на весь день обеспечено. когда я был помладше, я также смотрел «тома и джерри». зная, как я люблю этот мультфильм, моя мама часто покупала мне различные тематические предметы. например, тарелку или футболку с рисунком тома и джерри. я не могу сказать, что люблю персонаж тома больше, чем джерри, или наоборот. мне нравятся оба этих персонажа, так как они оба по-своему хороши. том часто попадает в глупые ситуации, преследуя хитрую мышь, и в такие моменты мне жаль его.
