Is it worth being late for a lesson? i think it is not worth at all.   first of all you can get used to it.   such a bad habit in the future may have a bad influence on your whole career.   employers don't like their workers who are often late for work.   so you can hardly expect any good prospects at work including promotion. as to school,    being late is a symptom of bad-self orgasnization.   you have to rush to school without breakfast in a bad mood. of course this can hardly help you in the process of efficient studies.   moreover at the beginnning of the lesson the teachers usually check homework of their pupils,  so you can miss    some important moments of explanation and correction of mistakes.   so you   will have to go to your classmates or even teachers for additional explantion.   most often people are not eager to repeat things they have already said or heard.   and if they refuse (to which they have a lawful right), some important things in the subject can be totally missed and you won't be able to go on with this subject in a normal and efficient way.   also if you are often late for classes and come to the lesson in the middle of it, it disracts other pupils and makes the teacher nervous and even angry, especially if he or she was in the middle of explaining some important things.   taking into consideration the fact that it   will also take you some time to get ready for the lesson, the situation becomes even worse.   if you continue being late for classses, the teachers may start thinking about you as "a hopeless case"   and will  completely stop taking you seriously.   and so will your classmates. in this way you may become an outcast in your own class.   that means you should seriously think twice before getting into the habit of being late for classes.   there are no good points about it at all.
