First of all i want to tell you that my best friend's name is igor and he is 15. he is the best person i have ever met. a few   words about his appearance. his height is nearly 149 cm. but he'd like to be a bit taller.  igor has a round face as everyone has, a bit long nose and big cheerful grey eyes. his forehead is open.  his hair isn't very short but it's not long either. it is  straight and  black.  i think that he looks like his father. igor is very active and creative, cheerful and curious. but the best thing is that he is reliable. we spend much time together. we go for a walk, we play tennis, watch tv, do things which we like. i love my friend.     прежде всего, я хочу сказать вам, что моего друга зовут игорь и ему 15. она самый лучший человек, которого я когда-либо встречал. несколько слов об его внешности. его рост около 149 см. но он хотел бы быть немного выше.  у игоря круглое лицо, как и у всех, немного длинный нос и большие радостные серые глаза.    eго лоб открытый.     его волосы не короткие, но это не длинные. они прямые и   черные.  я думаю, что он похож на своего отца. игорь активный и творческий, жизнерадостный и любознательный. но самое главное - он надежный. мы проводим много времени вместе. мы ходим гулять, играем в теннис, смотрим телевизор, делаем вещи, которые нам нравятся. я люблю моего друга.

aristotle, one of the great greek philosophers, once said; "the roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet". so, it takes great efforts of the person to become an educated one. i consider that it is really a treasure to have education. not in vain the proverb says: ' better unborn than untaught." in my opinion, it is very difficult and takes a lot of time to get good knowledge and become a useful person for the country you live in. really. it advances by steps and not by leaps and bounds. to my mind, it is a long hard work. for example , a pupil who wants to obtain use. to have good marks and certainly good knowledge to be ready to enter the university needs 11 years of hard diligent everyday work. another example can be great poets and scientists who spent all the life creating their masterpieces and only after that they could prove that they are really genius and have enough knowledge to be useful and necessary for their own country. therefore, they can be called true sons of their country.

so, i would tend to think that it is never too late to learn, although it takes lots of time and efforts. from my points of view, we should always remember that knowledge is power and it is not a burden
