Bachelor thesis, 44c., 12 fig., 5 tab., 23 source 1 apps. soil ciliates, ciliate, protozoa, vologodskaya oblast, background plots, industrial plots  the objects of study are soil ciliates. the objective was to study the community structure of ciliates in the soil of the vologda region. in the process carrying out research on the abundance and species composition on site background and man-made sites of the vologda region. as a result, the study identified 6 species of ciliates belonging to 3 genera and 3 families. the prevailing species were colpoda stein colpoda maupasi and colpoda aspera for all types of soils of the study area.  the dependence between the number of ciliates soil moisture, and acid-base indicator. the main anthropogenic factors affecting the value of indicators are exploration to mechanical disruption and chemical contamination of the soil cover. these studies can be the basis as baseline information when conducting biomonitoring. the same materials can be used in bioindication for assessment of the anthropogenic impacts on the environment.
