every day we can hear everything about sports: about games, competitions, athletes and simply sports news. we can find information in newspapers, on tv or on the radio. there are some special sports channels on tv. they are very popular and we can watch something practically every day.

the englishmen are known to be great sports-lovers. one of the most popular british games is cricket. they also like rugby. it's a   kind of english footbal.americans are very fond of sports too.there are a lot of activities which americans take part in, such as golf , tennis, footbal, swimming.

in russia a lot of people go in for sports. we can say that russia is a nation of sport-lovers. many sports are popular in our country.
