My working day started very early. i got up at half past three and i had a shower and a cup of coffee. i usually left the house at ten past four because the car always arrived a few minutes earlirer. i got to the studio at about five o'clock and started work. my programme good morning britain started at seven o'clock and finishes at nine o'clock. then i left the studio at a quarter past ten. after that, i went shopping and visited some friends. i got home at three o'clock. a woman helped me with the housework and the ironing. i read a newspaper and did some work. then muy husband got home at half past five in the evening and i cooked dinner. we stayed at home in the evening. we didn't go out because i went to bed very early. we usually watched television and then i went to bed at half past eight, i'm usually aslept by nine o'clock. i thought my job was very interesting but i didn't like getting up very early.
