      on weekdays i usually go to school, but on my days off i prefer to rest. there is a proverb : 'all work and no play makes jack a dull boy'. it means that every person needs a rest after hard work on weekdays. at our leisure-time we go in for sport, read books, go to the library, the cinema, the theatre, parks, museums, the zoo or the circus where we enjoy watching animals.       some pupils prefer to go to the country to see their relatives and friends. in winter they like to go to the skating rink or to the forest to skate and ski. in summer children may go to the forest or to a river to sunbathe, play different games or swim.       as for me my day off is sunday. i like my day very much. i needn't hurry anywhere and i wake up later than usual. as soon as i get up i air the room and make my bed. then i do my morning exercises, wash my face and hands and brush my teeth. after having breakfast i listen to lovely stereo music and relax. then i meet my friends and we discuss our plans together. we may go to the cinema or the theatre, a museum or a park. sometimes we attend art exhibitions, concerts or shows. as a rule we try to spend most of the time outdoors.       when the weather is bad my friends come to my place. we listen to music or watch an interesting tv programme. in the evening i spend two or three hours getting ready for school. then our family has supper. sometimes we receive guests at our place or go for a walk.       i enjoy my days off greatly and i am looking forward to my next days off.       в рабочие дни недели я обычно хожу в школу, но в выходные я предпочитаю отдых. пословица говорит, что нужно не только работать, но и развлекаться. это означает, что каждый человек нуждается в отдыхе после тяжелой работы в течение рабочей недели. на досуге мы занимаемся спортом, читаем книжки, посещаем библиотека, кинотеатр, театр, парки, музеи, зоопарки или цирк, где наслаждаемся животных.       некоторые ученики предпочитают поездки в деревню, чтобы повидаться с родственниками и друзьями. зимой они любят ходить на каток или в лес кататься на коньках и лыжах. летом дети могут ходить в лес или на реку загорать, играть в разные игры или плавать.       что касается меня, то мой выходной день - воскресенье. я люблю этот день. мне не нужно никуда спешить, и я просыпаюсь позже, чем всегда. как только я встаю, проветриваю комнату и застилаю кровать. потом делаю зарядку, умываюсь и чищу зубы. после завтрака я слушаю любимую музыку и отдыхаю. потом я встречаюсь с друзьями, и мы вместе обсуждаем наши планы. мы можем пойти в кино или театр, музей или парк. иногда мы посещаем выставки, концерты или спектакли. как правило, мы стараемся проводить больше времени на улице.       когда погода плохая, друзья приходят ко мне. мы слушаем музыку и смотрим по телевизору интересные программы. вечером я провожу 2 или 3 часа за подготовкой к школе. потом наша семья ужинает. иногда к нам приходят гости или мы ходим гулять.       я получаю большое удовольствие от выходных дней и жду с нетерпением следующих выходных.

Сейчас я в доме моего дедушки. и только я включил телек, чтобы посмотреть любимый сериал, вдруг йоу! изображение с телевизора пропало, а свет лампы потух. "электричество накрылось", сказал дедушка. "так что же мы теперь будем делать? ", спросил я. "может почитаем? ", ответил он. "ну не-ет, это скучно." мне стало тоскливо. "с чего ты так говоришь, ведь ты даже не знаешь о чем там написано? неужели современные дети совсем отказались от книг и журналов? " дед продолжал. "это замечательная , в ней полно опасностей и приключений. да, давненько я уже не читал её."
