I spent most of the day in town yesterday. First of all, I went to the bakery to buy some flowers. Then I went to the florist to say thank you to my mum. She works so hard all day at the hospital (she's a doctor, and my dad's a nurse at the same hospital) and then she does a lot of the housework too. After that, I went to the butcher's to get some meat and sausages for our dinner this week. Then I had to go to the shoe store to get some new trainers for me - the old ones have holes in and hurt my feet when I go running in them. Finally, I went to the bookstore and bought a new novel for me - I finished the last one yesterday. What a busy day!
