we all love going to the zoo, but what about animals? how are they feeling? should we keep animals in zoos or is it wrong to take them out of their natural habitat?

on the one hand, zoos play an important role in the conservation of nature. many natural habitats are in danger. by keeping endangered species in zoos, we help them to survive. in addition, a good zoo can be very informative, it teaches us how animals behave and how they act in their natural habitat. so we're looking at a way to protect them.

on the other hand, keeping animals in the zoo is a drawback. zoos can't recreate the natural habitat and animals can be very unhappy in the cages. it would be better to send money to protect the natural habitat than to zoos. in addition, there are many good documentaries about animals, so zoos are not so important for education.

to sum up, there are strong arguments both for and against zoos. these days, zoos are the best protection for endangered animals. however, i believe that animals should live in their natural environment, we should do our best to protect their habitat.

we live in ukraine. the capital of ukraine is kyiv. it is a big city. more than three million people live there. kyiv is on the dnipro, the main ukrainian river. khreshchatyk is the main street in kyiv. this street is long and broad. when people come to our capital they like to walk in khreshchatyk. on saturday and sunday there is no traffic in this street. 

that’s why people like to walk there on these days. when you go straight along khreshchatyk you can get into maidan nezalezhnosti – the main square in kyiv. this place is very beautiful.

in kyiv you can see many high buildings. there are many cars, buses, trolley-buses, trams in the city. there are also three metro lines in it. when you go on the bridges over the dnipro you can admire the beauty of this river.

in spring and summer the streets in kyiv are very nice because there are a lot of green trees there, especially in may when the chestnut trees are in blossom.

there are many places of interest in kyiv. they are the golden gate, st. sophia cathedral, kyiv-pechersk lavra, the monument to bohdan khmelnytsky and many others.
