Когда в языке используется "there was/where" или "was" ? .

Сместоимениями/существительными в единственном числе – was (i/he/she/it), во множественном – were (you/we/they). обратите внимание, что после you, которое в используется и для «ты», и для «вы», необходимо писать were. где нас много (мы, они), — там и слово длиннее (были – were), где один человек (я, он…) – там короче (был – was).

Yesterday i went to see my friend Mike. He was watching a football match on TV. After it he watched some sporting contests. He sat before the tv for three hours. You will be healthy and strong. A healthy man looks and feels well. He can work hard. A sick and weak man tires quickly and often falls ill. Such a man is often nervous and can't work well. Have some exercises every day. Good exercises develop your muscles and give you pleasure. Exercises increase heart action and blood circulation. They strengthen the nerves. If you want to have a strong and beautiful body you must exercises yourself. It is more important to your health to be a participant than a spectator.
