Полагаю, что предлоги места (где? куда? ) не вызовут у вас особой сложности.   there is a book on the table-   книга на столе. put the book on the table. -положи книгу на стол. предлог in-   в. the book is in the bag. - книга в сумке. ( into - в ( he puts the book into the bag. - он кладет книгу в сумку.но есть словосочетания, которые нужно тупо запоминать, практикуясь. на мой взгляд в сборнике ю.голицынского "грамматика" подробно рассматриваются варианты употребления предлогов. учебник можно скачать в инете и пользоваться в сложных грамматических ситуациях. но присутствие предлога при глаголах -это тема особая. там запоминание обязательно!
