Сэр фрэнсис дрейк был пиратом и иследователем он отправился из  плимута   в египет в 1577 году. но его корабль проплыл на северо запад через amontic (я не знаю ,что это) и он достиг южной  америки. их атаковали испанцы (sh ps - что это? )   и забрали их еду, капитан дрейк проплыл вокруг   континента южной америки. потом он достиг юга и был первым человеком из европы достигший западного побережья северной америке. он встретил ( norve americans  -  norve-? правильно написал? ) северных американцев там. сэр фрэнсис дрейк иследовал новую дорогу домой из северной америки, он был вторым капитаном   cовершивший кругосветное путешествие  1588. он вернулся домой в августе.
