Не могу перевести текст "the king and the cheese" вот: once upon a time in a faraway country there lived a king. he lived in a beautiful palace. he had everything he liked. he liked cheese best of all. his cheese makers made the best cheese in all the land.everyone in the palace could smell that cheese. everyone in the town could smell the cheese. everyone in the country could smell that cheese.one day a little mouse smelled the cheese. he told all his friends about the cheese.soon, every mouse in the country ran to the palace.yhe mice were very happy. they lived in the palace and ate the king's cheese. but the king was not happy. he called his wise men and asked them: "how can i get rid of these mice? " "that's easy, " said the wise men. we know how to get rid of them." and the wise men brought in cats: big cats, little cats, fat cats, thin cat. the big cats, the little cats, the fat cats and the thin cats all began to chase the mice. they did very good work. soon all the mice ran out of the palace.

Однажды в далекой стране жил король. он жил в красивом дворце. он имел все что (хотел) любил. больше всего на свете он любил сыр. его сыровар делал самый лучший сыр на всей земле. все во дворце могли почувствовать запах этого сыра. все в городе могли почувствовать запах того сыра. все в деревне могли почувствовать запах этого сыра. однажды маленький мышонок почувствовал запах сыра. он рассказал всем своим друзьям об этом сыре. вскоре, каждая мышь в деревне убежала во дворец. мыши были счастливы. они жили во дворце и ели королевский сыр. но король не был счастлив. он позвал своего мудрецов и спросил у них: «как я могу избавиться от этих мышей? » «это легко» - сказали мудрецы. мы знаем, как избавиться от них.   и мудрецы катов: больших котов, маленьких котов, жирных котов, худых котов. большие, маленькие, жирные и худые коты все начали гоняться за мышами. они сделали хорошую работу. вскоре все мыши исчезли из дворца.

There are many advantages in teacher's profession but i find more disadvantages. i reckon this profession is not for me and i would never become a teacher. teacher's job is a really big physical and emotional  pressure. i think teachers don't have so much time and they work all day long. there are good kids  and bad kids at school who disrespect teachers. after school teachers check tests, prepare their classes etc. at the same time they have to develop children's personality, go to theatres, museums and to other places. there is not so much time left. there are many questions that have to be sold by teachers, for example discussions with parents who are not always kind towards teachers and they don't care if their children are disrespectful or talkative on a lesson. a teacher is always the one to blame and it is unfair. i am not trying to say that teacher's job is bad, there are advantages too but i am interested in other things so i wouldn't choose it as my future profession.

Christopher columbus discovered america in 1492. he was born in italy. his father and both grandfathers were cloth makers. columbus was a seaman and made many sea voyages. most people in columbus's days thought that the earth was flat and they did not believe that beyond the atlantic ocean lay india. in 1492 the king and the queen of spain gave him money to go to india. he decided to sail west as he was sure that our planet was round. there were 3 caravels: the santa maria, the nina and the pinta. after sailing 4000 miles he reached some land. the crew saw something like a white cliff and cried out: "tierra! tierra! ". columbus thought 'that it must be india but it was not. it was a new land — a new continent. it was america. columbus named the land they had reached san salvador ("holy saviour"). people began to speak about the land as "the new world". european people came to the new world for many reasons. some hoped to find gold and silver. priests and missionaries came to bring the christian religion to the indians. among those who came for freedom was a small group of english people called pilgrims. they wanted to start a new life and to have no religious problems they had in england. in 1620 on the ship "mayflower" they landed in the north-east of america. they set up a colony and called that part of the country "new england".
