Та же ситуация: чисто грамматически, скорее всего, when mother entered the room, i was doing my lessons. (когда мама вошла в комнату, я делал уроки) для будущего времени: when mother enters the room, i'll be doing my lessons. (когда мама войдёт в комнату, я буду делать уроки) делать работу - to do homework, а не to do lessons
