Он родился- he has born или he was born?

He was   потому что предложения  с  глаголами have или has употребляются когда действие совершилось только-что. например, мел упал только-что. мама пришла с работы только что. т.е. действие уже свершилось, но результат можно наблюдать и сейчас. предложения с глаголами was или were употребляются когда с момента совершения действия прошло уже достаточно времени. например, он прочитал книгу вчера. мы ездили в лондон в том году.   

Ядумаю, что   это вариант 2,скорее всего, что это верно

1.  cricket was always popular in england 

2.what are you doing here? – i`m waiting for mr. smith. - have you been waiting him long? – no, i`ve just come here. 

3. i'm sure to meet him at the station. 

4. have they been playing chess since the morning?  

5. we`ve been looking for you for the whole night. 

6. how many days have you already been reading this book?  

7. he`s done everything for her. now he's going to buy her a house. 

8. he had not read this book yet. 

9. she always talks only about herself. it's so annoying!  

10. today it is very cold.- yes, it's been cold since sunday.

the uk government acknowledges that there are many religious and cultural holidays celebrated in the united kingdom by its diverse population. these holidays are not viewed as public holidays and employers are not required to provide paid days off for celebrations of these events.they celebrate such this holidays every !
