One of my favorite characters is patrick jane from "the mentalist" - american tv series consisting of 8 seasons. according to the title, he can do mind tricks and manipulate people from time to time. the plot is that patrick is trying to find a murderer of his wife and daughter. he comes to cbi and desires to help them to get red john. so, he starts working there with 3 collegues. he's really attemping to overcome his devastating tragedy and, due to the actor's play, the audience sympathizes him a lot. i like his sense of humor, his brilliant tricks which sometimes shock spectaculars and i like solving puzzles, so that's why i like the character and respect his aspiring to go through difficult periods of his life.
