Iwould like to take part in magellan's round-the-world expedition as it was very interesting and dangerous adventure.the first voyage round the world was made by magellan over 400 years ago. he thought that by going west he could travel by sea round the world and come to the same place again. in those early days many people in europe were interested in india they knew it was a very rich country whose culture was older than theirs. magellan wanted to find a new way to india.one day, after a voyage of many months, magellan's crew saw land. it turned out to be south america. they were met by a crowd of men and women, who looked quite different from them.magellan did not stay long in south america: he was in a hurry to get to india. this voyage was long and difficult. islands were few and far between, and the travellers were often in need of food and water. many of them fell ill, but at last, after many months of travelling, they reached the philippine islands. in the philippine islands magellan and his men were well met by the people they stayed there for some time and took part in a war between two different peoples of the islands magellan was killed in this war.

На языкеперевод на языкchristmasрождествоchristmas is one of the most important holidays in christianity. a lot of people consider that jesus christ was born on this day many years ago. it’s a sacred festival that’s why orthodox believers gather in the churches to attend the feast rite on christmas. my whole family celebrates this feast: mother, father, my younger sister and i. my grandmother and grandfather very seldom visit us. we sit down to the festive table and light the candles at midnight. everybody is always in a good mood. after the feast a week comes when we can tell fortunes. every year my friends and i look in the mirror for our intended at night but we understand that it’s impossible to see our fate in a mirror. but anyway we believe that enchantment will happen.but in other countries christmas is celebrated in a different way. for example in the usa christmas day is celebrated on december 25. on this day they decorate a christmas tree and give presents to each other. all children wait for santa claus who will come in sleigh and give presents.i like this feast very much because it inspires people with belief in the reality of miracles. birth of jesus christ is the most important miracle for believers. this feast goes back to the earliest of times and it will never be forgotten.рождество один из главных праздников в христианстве. многие люди считают, что в этот день, много лет назад, родился иисус христос. это священный праздник, поэтому в ночь на рождество в храмах собираются православные прихожане, чтобы присутствовать на праздничной службе. вся наша семья встречает этот праздник: мама, папа, я и моя младшая сестра. редко приезжают бабушка с дедушкой. в полночь мы садимся за праздничный стол и зажигаем свечи. у всех всегда хорошее настроение. после праздника наступает неделя, когда можно гадать. мы с подружками каждый год ночью в зеркало смотрим своего суженого, но понимаем, что свою судьбу в зеркало увидеть невозможно. но всё равно верим, что волшебство произойдёт.а вот в других странах рождество встречают несколько иначе, например, в сша его отмечают 25 декабря. у них на рождество принято наряжать ёлку, дарить подарки. все дети ждут, когда к ним приедет санта клаус на санях и подарит подарки.мне нравится этот праздник, потому что он вселяет в людей веру в чудо, потому что рождение христа на свет – это самое главное чудо для верущих людей. этот светлый праздник пришёл к нам с давних времён и его не забудут никогда.
