Each march, just before spring break, all upper school students put their regular class work aside to participate in a wide range of alternative educational experiences during project week. this program provides our students with unique opportunities to further study familiar subjects or explore new interests. they may choose to travel the world or explore their city, participate in community service efforts or outward bound expeditions, gain a fuller appreciation of different cultures, languages, art, history, or music, or build their own computers, sea kayaks, or robots.  a catalog of project week offerings comes out in late october and students are graded on pass/fail basis for their work during this week. students must select six project choices. up to three selections may be out-of-town projects, and at least three must be in-town options. all selections can certainly be in-town. if a student has participated in a project that is offered again this year, it may not be selected again.
