1/  many people think that it is enough to know one language, but scientists think it is too little. the world is constantly changing, borders between countries and states is opening, and each of us can visit any country we like. this is one of the arguments in favour of studying foreign languages. in addition, the study of languages develops your attention and memory, broadens your mind, and you feel more educated. многие люди думают, что достаточно знать один язык, но ученые думают,  что это катастрофически мало. мир постоянно меняется, открываются границы между странами и государствами, и каждый из нас может побывать в любой стране, которая вам нравится. это один из аргументов, говорящих в пользу изучения иностранных языков. кроме этого, изучение языков развивает внимание и память, расширяет кругозор, и вы чувствуете себя более образованным. 2/i study english at my school. i started learning english when i was 8 and i was in the second form. i have been learning english for 5 years. i can speak and read english very well. at my english lessons i like translating texts from russian into english and do our grammar tasks. my teacher helps me to study english. i like to study english. it is really great to find out about english people, cities and events.  when i study new words i repeat them many times aloud. at our english lessons we speak english, play games, read and translate texts. i like to discuss relation between people. usually it is easy for me to do my english homework. i like to write projects.  i know that english won't help me in my future profession.     я учу язык в школе. я начал учить , когда мне было 8 лет, и я был во втором классе. я изучаю в течение 5 лет. я могу говорить и читать по- хорошо. на уроках языка мне нравится переводить тексты с на и выполнять грамматические . мой учитель мне изучать язык. мне нравится учить язык. это действительно здорово  узнавать о жизни народа, городах и событиях. когда я изучаю новые слова, я повторяю их много раз вслух. на наших уроках языка мы говорим по-, играем в игры, читаем и переводим тексты. я люблю обсуждать отношения между людьми. как правило, это легко для меня выполнить . мне нравится писать проекты я знаю, что не мне в моей будущей профессии.. 

Fashion trends in the modern world are developing rapidly and vividly. i think that fashion in the future will carry the slogan "nice and comfortable". it should be comfortable and practical clothing, because, while the lifestyle is becoming more active, inconvenient and impractical clothing will lose their benefits. clothing, of course, must be beautiful. i hope in the future we will see even greater variety of styles than now.   we make fashion of the future for ourselves. and how quickly and efficiently we'll make it depends on modern designers.

People have invented many useful devices. one of the most interesting and widely-used inventions is the telephone. the modern phone that we use today is the result of work of many people. the first person to have patented the telephone in 1876 was alexander graham bell. he is credited as the inventor of this practical device. other scientists who also worked on telephone invention were elisha gray, antonio meucci, thomas edison and some others. the 20th century was the era of phone development and modernization. rotary telephones were replaced by touch-tone dials and other sophisticated features. modern phones are presented mostly by mobiles, which support ip telephony and wi-fi. it is almost impossible to find a person nowadays who doesn’t have a personal mobile phone. these phones have become highly popular over the last years. they are rather compact, handy and easy to carry around. mobile phones allow us to make instant calls, send text messages, listen to music, play games, take photos, check an e-mail and else. thus, they have replaced not only landlines but also personal computers, mp3-players and cameras. however, there are many people in the world who are against mobiles phones. doctors claim that this device has a bad effect on people’s health. it can damage our eyesight and immune system. the signals that are sent from mobiles can be harmful. some people also believe that phones prevent live communication. and, it is true. with the appearance of mobile phones and computers people meet up with friends less often. in my opinion, telephone is a very useful and important device. we simply can’t live without it in the modern world, even though it is not safe for health. the only solution is to try to use it less in everyday life.
