One of the most remarkable public events in my country is the victory day. it is traditionally celebrated on the 9th of may. this patriotic holiday commemorates the victory of the ussr over the nazi germany. every year in honour of this day in all cities across the country lots of cheerful parades and celebrations are held. despite the fact that the holiday is celebrated in a flamboyant way, may 9 is a sad day for the majority of our population. many people have lost their loved ones and close relatives during this ruthless war. from one hand everyone is happy that the country wasn’t occupied by the fascist invaders, from the other hand everyone grieves over their loss. on this day we are grateful to our saviors, to those who sacrificed their lives for us. that’s why we try to celebrate this day with honours. some part of younger generation doesn’t understand the importance of this event, which i think is disrespectful. in my opinion, the victory day is one of the greatest holidays during the year. some of my ancestors also took part in the great patriotic war of 1945, and i’m proud of them.

Робин гуд это легендарный герой . он жил в 12 веке. легенда гласит, что робин гуд жил в шервудском лесе с его . робин гуд и его забирали деньги у богатых и отдавали их бедным. существует много по них. здесь представлена одна из них. однажды робин гуд прогуливался по лесу с его , когда он увидел молодого человека. молодой человек носил смешной красный плащ и весело пел. на следующее утро робин гуд увидел этого же молодого человека без его смешного плаща. молодой человек выглядел печальным. робин гуд послал маленько джона этого молодого человека. когда юноша пришел к робин гуду, тот спросил его : " как тебя зовут? ". юноша ответил , что его зовут аллан   - э - дейл. тогда робин гуд спросил : "есть ли у тебя деньги? " аллан - э -дейл ответил : " у меня есть только 5 шиллингов и кольцо , которое я хранил 7 лет. я хочу жениться на милой молодой девушке. вчера я пошел делать ей предложение, но ее отец против этого  . он хочет выдать ее замуж за старого богатого мужчину. сейчас я несчастен". робин гуд спросил молодого человека : "    что ты дашь мне и моем людям если мы вернуть тебе твою девушку. у  аллан - э - дейла не было золотых монет, но он пообещал      служить робину гуду.итак, робин гуд согласился аллану- э -  дейлу и они все пошли в город, где жила девушка. когда онип пришли в город, они увидили девушку, которую любил аллан. она шла в церковь с богатым старым мужчиной. робин гуд и его сообщники пошли в церковь и попросили священника поженить девушку и аллана - э - дейла. когда священник отказался, робин гуд сдернул плащ свещенника и одел его на маленького джона. маленький джон поженил    молодых людей и они вернулись в гринвуд.
