Xii. прочтите и переведите тексты. задайте 5 вопросов к текстам. подготовьте словарь неизвестных слов. текст №1 describing a person of all my relatives, i like my aunt emily the best. she’s my mother’s youngest sister. she has never been married, and lives along in a small village near bath. she’s in her late fifties, but she’s quite young in spirit. she has a fair complexion, thick brown hair which she wears in a bun, and dark brown eyes. she has a kind face, and when you meet her, the first thing you notice is her smile. her face is a little wrinkled now, but i think she is still rather attractive. she is the sort of person you can always go to if you have a problem. she likes reading and gardening, and she still goes for long walks over the hills. she’s a very active person. either she’s making something, or mending something, or doing something to entertain herself. she’s extremely generous, but not very tolerant with people who don’t agree with her. i hope i’m as contented as she is when i’m her age. текст №2 i usually get up early. i don’t like sleeping late at weekends. i go jogging before breakfast - it’s a good way to start the day. i ring my secretary after breakfast to see if there are any messages for me. if she tells me there are urgent calls to make, i ring before i go out. i often go shopping with my husband in the morning, but i occasionally play tennis with my neighbour. on tennis days, i eat at the club after my match. on other days, i have lunch at home with my family. in the afternoon i go to the office to do some paperwork. the office closes for the weekend at 12, so there is nobody to interrupt me. when i come back from work, we visit friends or relations. sometimes we stay at their house for dinner, but we often eat at home. from time to time we have friends for dinner, but we generally prefer doing that on sundays. i normally watch the late news on tv before bed. i read for about half an hour before i turn off the light - it helps me to sleep.
