i’m happy to have a true friend. his name is maxim. he’s tall, dark-haired and grey-eyed. he is sixteen and he’s my classmate. maxim is good at physics, mathematics and other natural sciences. he also has many hobbies, such diving, riding and travelling. he can talk for hours about his adventures and accomplishments. recently he has been to egypt for diving in some special spaces, for example, wrecks. i can’t imagine how exciting it was. maxim said it was an unforgettable experience.

maxim is a very helpful person and always does his best to help other people. he helps not only to his classmates, friends and relatives, but also to unacquainted people. one time a dog bitten a girl on the street and maxim helped her to get to the hospital and to visit a doctor. he strives to help everyone and everywhere. i’m proud of him a lot.

we spend a lot of time together with maxim. we are playing tennis, basketball, football, swimming. also we like travelling. recently we went to hiking to carpathian mountains. it wasn’t an easy walk, but a rather hard trek! there were many difficulties in this hike, for example, fast-changing weather in mountains, heavy shower, lightning, thunderstorm just to mention a few.

one time, when we climbed to goverla, the highest carpathian mountain, some folks from our tourist group were about to give up and to return to the camp. they were too scared by thunderstorm. but maxim supported them with encouraging words, and as a result our entire group conquered the mountain. when we stood on the top we were so happy! it was difficult but exciting experience. i think that after this travel our friendship with maxim became even stronger.

i’d like him to be my best friend for a lifetime.
