The topic of my speech the architectural style of rococo.  it should be noted that the rococo style emerged in france, and later developed throughout europe, thanks to the french artists working abroad. it is worth mentioning that the masterpieces of the rococo style is complex and asymmetrical carved stucco patterns, intricate curls interior decoration contrasted with the relatively strict appearance of buildings, for example, petit trianon, versailles built by the architect gabriel.  leading architect of the rococo style in russia was francesco bartolomeo rastrelli.  in my opinion rastrelli creativity is most evident in such works as anichkov palace, and in such favorite architectural motifs and details as the winter palace in st. petersburg. i would like to draw your attention to painting and sculpture of the rococo style. the first significant master painting rococo became watteau, and he received further development in the works of artists such as boucher and fragonard. the most prominent representative of this style in the french sculpture is falcone.  rococo style was very popular until the late 18th century, while in france and other western countries, the interest in it waned in the 1860s. by this time he was seen as a symbol of lightness and was supplanted neoclassicism. thank you for your attention.
