Students of all educational institutions normally take examinations or tests to show they have gained enough knowledge to move to the next level. they are a significant part of the curriculum. i don’t think students like the exams, as they make them anxious and stressed. however, i’m sure that everybody should take part in testing system. it motivates us to study better. if we don’t have exams, then there is no need to study. i know that some people are self-motivated. they are ready to study because they simply like it. however, it’s rather seldom. most students prefer cheating, instead of studying. they do it mainly to get a certificate but not knowledge. nowadays, there are two types of exams: state and international. state exams are held in every public secondary school. at the end of the 9th and 11th forms all students have to take these exams in several obligatory and optional subjects. russian language and mathematics are considered to be obligatory. at the same time, every student can choose two or three optional subjects. if i were to choose, i’d prefer english and history. international exams are rather popular these days. almost any teen or adult can take part in these exams. they are internationally recognized exams, which test your knowledge in different areas. i would like to pass such exam in english and get a certificate with good grades. other professional areas of international exams include business, law, medicine, accounting, etc. in conclusion, i’d like to mention one more advantage of exams. they discipline people and teach them to work and study regularly.

Письмо от девочки. дорогие друзья, это письмо я пишу вам из . меня зовут нелл смит. мне 13 лет. я хожу в среднюю общеобразовательную школу. она большая. в нашей стране много школ,где вместе учатся девочки и мальчики,но есть и те,где учатся раздельно.  наша школа огромна,здесь много учителей и учеников. у нас есть директор,замдиректора,более 30 учителей и около тысячи учеников. поскольку школа общеобразовательная,у нас есть как преподаваемые всем предметы,так и дополнительные. в качестве них вы можете выбрать даже уход и домохозяйство. в школу мы ходим пять дней в неделю,с понедельника по пятницу. в субботу и воскресенье -- выходной. в 8: 45 я прихожу в школу,уроки начинаются в 9: 00. уроков пять: два до завтрака и три после. после обеда ещё два дополнительных занятия. в 15: 40 всё заканчивается и я обычно иду домой. когда я прихожу домой,то начинаю делать . в школе я изучаю 13 предметов: ,,французский,,биологию,, ,рукоделие,изо,игры,физкультуру,музыку и религию. заканчивая своё письмо,я хотел бы спросить тебя кое о чём. так ли сильно общеобразовательные школы казахстана отличаются от наших? мальчики и девочки учатся вместе или раздельно? какие предметы в вашей школе? сколько ты их изучаешь? каков твой учебный день? отличается от нашего? ,напиши мне о своей школе. 

Music plays an important role in my life. i simply can’t live without music. there are so many kinds of music nowadays, including rap, hip-hop, rock-n-roll, dance, classical, opera, alternative, drum & bass, techno, rock, metal, jazz, reggae, blues, etc. i like nearly all these types. when i’m sad i listen to alternative music or rock. when i’m in good mood i listen to either hip-hop or dance music. sometimes my teacher takes us to classical concerts or operas, which i also enjoy. music is not only a combination of pleasant sounds. it is an art which reflects life. music reflects people's ideas and emotions. in this world of ours, filled with conflicts, tragedies, joys and hopes, music strives to speak to people of what is most important, urgent and poignant.
