прости есть только про лето.

there are four seasons in a year: winter, spring, summer and autumn. all seasons are good in their own way.

however, my favourite season is summer. i choose summer not only because my birthday is in june, but also because it’s the time of holidays. summer is the season when the sun shines brightly, the sky is rarely cloudy and the water in the sea becomes warm enough to swim. even if it becomes too hot, you can always go for a walk in the shady woods. i also like summer because there are many berries, fruit and vegetables, not to mention numerous flowers on the fields.

summer is also the time when i and my family go on holiday to the seaside. it’s a wonderful time, when we can have a rest from the intense academic year and relax. i also enjoy my free time, playing with my friends, watching tv, and doing other fun activities. nevertheless, i don’t forget to do some useful reading from time to time.

When i came home, my mother was cooking dinner. the children were playing in the garden, when they left home. i was doing homework from five till seven. he was already  wtitting his composition, when parents came back. the bus was going, when i remembered one thing my friend called me up, when i was in the bath-room. somebody called me out, when i was wallking. the lessons were over, when i was finished my test. when i came home, my brother was playing an  activ game. i was doing this from six till eight.   

Ошибка проводника. однажды марк твен путешествовал во францию на поезде. он хотел посетить маленький городок возле парижа. это было поздно ночью, он был уставшим и ему хотелось спать. он попросил проводника разбудить его, когда они доедут до города и продолжил дремать. уже было раннее утро, когда он проснулся и поезд уже был в париже.  марк твен был зол. он подошёл к проводнику и сказал: "я попросил вас разбудить меня. почему вы этого не сделали? я зол на вас."  проводник посмотрел на него буквально одним глазом и сказал: "вы можете быть злы, сэр, но не так, как тот американец, которого я высадил с поезда  вместо вас."
