i`d like to apply for the students exchange program. there are several reasons, why i`m applying.

firstly, the usa is the location of a lot of interesting places. such as, the famous statue of liberty, it`s the symbol of new york, hollywood and roosevelt island. the program will help me to learn something new about america/ i think that in the usa is the higlest standart of living in the world and i want to understand how america has achieved it i would like to return the knowledge received in this program to russia and bring the country benefits.

secondly, russia and the usa have a lot of indentical features, for example: russia and the usa have a large territory. the usa and russia soldiers defended democracy together during world war 2 when they defeated fascism. more over, both countries are federations.

this program can help me to break the stereotypes   and build a bridge  between russia and the usa.

to sum it up, when i am back i will have my own personal experience, which when shared with me friends here in russia, will promote a better   understanding of the cultures involved and will make the world a little safer.
