What does it mean to be a good citizen

1to be a good citizen anywhere you have to be a good person. that means showing respect, having a good attitude or just helping out.  in the classroom, you have to show responsibility by doing your homework on time, or listening and following directions. also, you have to help out your other classmates.  another example is in your community. don’t just throw your trash in the street, find a trash can and use it. make sure you are not bothering anybody while messing around or playing at the park. at home, you should always do your chores and listen to your parents. don’t just think that if you are at home, you can break the rules, because the same rules should apply everywhere. chad laganagrade 6 2 i think something i can do to be a good citizen is help an elderly person when i see one crossing the street. another thing i could do to be a good citizen is helping out at a veteran’s home. i can cheer them up and keep their spirits high as if they were young again.  i can also help in a classroom. if my teacher asks me to go run a quick errand, i would do it for her or maybe give a message to another teacher. i could help clean up supplies and help clean up the classroom after school.  at home, i could be a good citizen by helping my mom around the house. if my mom is trying to lift something heavy, i could give her a helping hand.  also if my dad has been working all day with yard work, i could help him and get the job done much faster. i feel that these are a couple ways to be a good citizen and help people. sierra b.grade 6  3 a good citizen is some who respects others and their property.  he/she is helpful and considerate, willing to put others first.  he/she listens to the views of others and thinks about what they have to say. he/she helps people who are not in a position to help themselves. he/she respects the environment and does not damage it in anyway. he/she works hard. he/she is well mannered and pleasant. he/she is always willing to learn

" "я должна обратиться к врачу, я должна обратиться к врачу"-повторяла она снова и снова и выбежала из комнаты. мисс персиммон взлетела и прилетела к столу с кувшином горячей воды. потом она повернулась и вернулась обратно.  "время идти домой"-серьезно сказала мэри поппинс. вдруг джейн, майкл и мистер вигг спустились.  эта мысль была первой грустной мыслью за весь день."как грустно", сказал мистер вигг. " жаль что вам придется идти домой! " они добрались до дома на автобусе, джейн и майкл молчали всю дорогу.  потом майкл сказал мэри поппинс: "как часто ваш дядя делает так? " "как - так?
