Thank you for your recent letter. I was very glad to get it.

In your letter you asked me about sport. Sport has an essential part of my life. As for all teenagers in Russia, there are a lot of popular sports, for example: skiing, skating, football and basketball. Also in my school there are a lot of sport facilities such as swimming pool, sport hall, pitches, athletic tracks and many other. Some times a year we hold large-scale competitions in football, basketball and athletics. They are very exciting.

Amerigo Vespucci (born March 9, 1454 in Florence; died February 22, 1512 in Seville) is an entrepreneur and Explorer, member of the Spanish and Portuguese expeditions to the New world.
