Mass Media has become an important part in the life of our society. It includes the press, radio and television whose main functions are to inform, to educate and to entertain.I believe millions of people can’t live without TV; it’s an integral part of everyone’s life. Even if we don’t watch it, it can be switched on just for the background. The same thing is with radio. We listen to it whenever we have meals or do work around the house. Radio broadcasts are valued mainly for their music programs. As for TV, there is a great variety of programs from which one can choose in order to satisfy his interests in the best way. Our television provides so much information that sometimes we are even lost in this stream. We get to know about social, economic and political events that take place in our country and in the whole world. We learn about new discoveries in science and about problems concerning different spheres of our life. There are lots of shows, films and games that are entertaining and exciting and help us to relax at the end of the working day.Newspapers are also able to supply people with any kind of information. They comprise articles about the latest international and national events, all kinds of rumours, advertising, fun stories, biographies of well-known people and so on. There are newspapers and magazines for people of all age groups where one can read all kinds of news, events and reports on education, sports, cultural life, entertainment and fashion.One more important thing which is worth mentioning is advertising. Mass Media is one of the best ways to promote various goods and to help people to understand what they really need.I believe it would be hard to imagine our life without Mass Media

У всех есть свои любимые увлечения. А я увлекаюсь спортом. А точнее футблом. Почему-то Футбол для меня особенный вид спорта. В детстве я просто пинал мяч и играл(а) во дворе с Друзями. Это было просто забавой. Но когда родители привели меня на тренировку, я понял(а), что это моё. Сначала у меня не получалось. Я медленно бегал. Не мог держать мяч у ног, он постоянно укатывался от меня! Но я не обращал внимания на эти неудачи. Я учился на своих ошибках.
Сейчас, благодаря усердию и большим стараниям, я хорошо играю в футбол. Мне нравится. Это приносит мне удовольствие.
Бывает, что не нравится и хочется бросить это увлечение. Но если чуть-чуть потерпеть, то можно добиться великих результатов, а может даже и прославится.

Под конец я немного ушёл от темы, но думаю, сойдёт.

Ever since I was a little kid, I was really interested in moving vehicles, be it a car or a motorbike. But nothing fascinated me more than just a simple bicycle. When I first got my hands on this two-wheel monster, it felt as If I was born anew. Ever since that moment in my life, I knew it was my destiny to try myself in cycle racing. And I wasn't mistaken - It has become one of my favourite sports I have ever tried in my life. The wind howling around you, the feeling of high speed, and most importantly - the feeling of freedom - all of these things create an atmosphere of comfort and satisfaction. I really recommend everyone to try themselves at cycle racing; it's really fun and exciting. Even If not competitive but casual riding is okay too. Riding a bike for just a mere hour can greatly improve one's health. I have a friend who was a victim of a terrible car accident. Doctors were assured that he will never walk again. After spending some time in a wheelchair, my friend really wanted a change. That's when I recommended him to use a special bike intended for people with limited functions. At first, it was literally impossible for him to use it, but after spending some time with my friend, he got used to it. The results were quite shocking, his limbs started to work again! Everyone was astonished by these surprising results. That's what a simple bicycle can do to improve one's health or even save someone's life.
