London is not only the capital of the most important English-speaking country. It’s also one of the largest and most beautiful cities in the world. The population of London at the moment is more than 8 million people. Besides, London is inhabited by people of almost all nationalities and races. The city lies on both banks of river Thames. The most important parts of London are: the City, the East End, the West end and Westminster. The busiest part is, of course, the City. Thousands of companies, business organizations, banks and offices are situated there and millions of people work there on daily basis. The West End and the East End classification shows that London has still class distinction system. The West End is traditionally inhabited by rich and successful people. Besides, almost all the city theaters, museums, galleries, posh shops and restaurants are situated in West End area. East End is the place where working class lives. This district is not as rich as others and has fewer parks. Westminster area contains many sightseeing buildings. The most famous of all is the Westminster Abbey. It’s the place where many prominent Englishmen are buried. Among them Charles Darwin, Isaac Newton, Alfred Tennyson and many others. London is full of places of interest. When tourists arrive there, they want to see the Piccadilly Street, which is especially beautiful at night, the Baker Street, the place where Sherlock Holmes lived and worked, the Tower, which is famous as home of the Crown Jewels, the Hyde Park with its Speaker’s Corner, the Museum of Madame Tussauds and many others. One of the favourite tourist attractions is London Eye. It’s one of the largest Ferris wheels in the world.

Schools in Russia are very different from schools in Japan. In Japanese schools up to grade 5, children are taught manners of behavior in society, and then they are taught the school curriculum. If in Russian schools it is permissible to repaint in different hair colors, then in schools in Japan it is strictly forbidden. say about the form of students, if in Russia you can find loopholes and quietly come in jeans, then in schools in Japan it is necessary that girls have a skirt, and men have a suit.

There so many advantages of using a computer. First of all they make our lives easier. Computers help us at school, university, at work. It’s faster to write something on computer, than by hand, it’s more convenient to send emails than letters by post. I often use computer in my studies, for example, if I need to read a book I can easily download it from the Internet. I also use Internet to search for information I need for school. I like watching movies very much. But I don’t like these movies shown at our cinemas and the choice is not so wide. Using my computer I can find any movie I like and moreover I can watch films in English. Computer and Internet help me to communicate with my friends who live in other countries and find new friends. It would be difficult to stay in touch with them without computer, but with the help of it we can send emails to each other, share photos, music and so on. But unfortunately some people keep no measure in using computers. Children and teenagers are addicted to computer games and don’t have time for studying or reading books. Some of them prefer online chatting to face to face communication with their friends. Computer harms our psychological state and eye sight. So I think computers are really useful if we don’t use them excessively. Компьютеры сейчас – неотъемлемая часть нашей жизни. Я также могу найти информацию, которая мне нужна для школы. Я люблю смотреть кино. Но мне не нравятся те фильм, которые показывают у нас в кинотеатрах, и выбор не очень большой. С моего компьютера я могу найти фильмы, которые хочу и, более того, можно смотреть фильм на английском. Компьютер и интернет мне общаться с друзьями, которые живут в других странах и находить новых друзей. Было бы сложно поддерживать контакт с ними без компьютера, но с его мы можем посылать друг другу электронные сообщения, делиться фотографиями, музыкой и так далее. Но, к сожалению, некоторые не знают меры в использовании компьютера. Дети и подростки зависимы от компьютерных игр и у них нет времени на учебу и чтение. Некоторые предпочитают общаться с друзьями онлайн, а не лицом к лицу. Компьютер отрицательно воздействует на психологию человека и зрение. Я думаю, что компьютеры полезны во многом, если мы не злоупотребляем ими.
