One day, Freddy the Fox goes to Betty the Bear. Betty is in her garden. Freddy the Fox wants to plant some carrots in Betty's garden. Betty wants to take the roots and to give the tops to Freddy when the carrots are ready. Freddy agrees and plants some carrots. When the carrots are ready, Betty calls Freddy. Freddy wants to divide the carrots. He wants Betty to take the tops. But Betty the Bear doesn't want to take the tops, she can't eat them. Betty the Bear is very angry. Then Freddy comes again and asks for another favour. He wants to plant some melons in Betty's garden. Betty agrees. Now she wants the roots. Freddy agrees. When the melons are ready Freddy wants to share them. He cuts off the melons and puts them in his bag. He lets Betty have the roots. Betty is so angry with herself that she goes into her house and doesn't speak to anyone.
