1 B. так как play должно быть в Continuous. Это ведь длительное действие. 

2 В. так как разговаривает он вообще, то есть делает это не сейчас, следовательно в Simple.

3 А.

4. В. Брат курит 20 сигарет в день, имеется ввиду что всегда, часто. Следовательно в Simple.

5. В. Так как глагол "понимать" - не употребляется в Continuous

6. Здесь я не знаю, скорее всего В, так как он делает это сейчас, и хоть сон и короткий, все равно это длительное действие.

7. В, так как в данном значении "выглядеть" тоже не употребляется в длительном времени.

8. А

9. и А и В.    А - первая часть. А вот во второй части, где глагол "see" - нужен Симпл, так как этот глагол также не употребляется в длительном времени (Continuous).

10. В, глагол "помнить" тоже не употребляется в длительном

15. В. Глагол в значении "полагать" или что то типо этого. В этом значении глагол не употребляется в длительном времени.

17. В. Глагол "надееться" тоже не употребляется в длительных временах.

    Thank to you for letter. It's a great pleasure to have a true the friend!
    My best friend is Helen. We study in the same class and spend a lot of time with together. We often go to the cinema or to the park. What's more, we just to stay at the home and have tea.
Of course, we have a lot of topics to talk about and too we interested in cycle racing. Yesterday we spent the whole day together. We went to the park and in the evening we watched a play in the theatre also.

I was very glad to hear from you again. I haven't written for ages because of my school activities.
In your letter you ask me to tell you about my favorite kind of sports. With a pleasure. I like many kinds of sports but best of all I like football. It's the game of my dream. I play for my school football club "Gold Ball". We are good players and we win almost every competitions.
Besides it I'm a football fan and I like to watch every match on TV or in the stadium. And what about you? Tell me about your favorite kind of sports. That's for me today. I have to go.

Я был очень рад получить от тебя весточку. Я не писал целую вечность из-за занятости в школе.
В своем письме ты просишь меня рассказать  о моем любимом виде спорта. С удовольствием. Мне нравятся многие виды спорта, но больше всего я люблю футбол. Это игра моей мечты. Я играю за  мой школьный футбольный клуб "Золотой мяч". Мы хорошие игроки, и мы выигрываем почти все соревнования.
Кроме того, я футбольный болельщик, и мне нравится смотреть каждый матч по телевизору или на стадионе. А как насчет тебя? Расскажи мне о своих любимых видах спорта. Это все на сегодня. Мне нужно идти.
