The cunning celts once the new visitors began to settle in, life went quite smoothly until england was invaded properly for the first time by the celts. they came here in 650 вс from central europe apparently looking for tin — please don't ask me why! the celts were tall, blond and blue-eyed and so got all the best girls right away. this, of course, annoyed the poor britons even more, but there was not much they could do about it as they only had sticks and fists to fight with. the celts set up home in the south of england building flash wooden forts which the poor boneheaded locals could only mill around in awe and envy. now england wasn't too bad a place to live for the next few hundred years (if you were tall, blue-eyed and blond then in 55 вс the late great julius caesar — star of stage and screen — arrived with a couple of legions from rome, italy the refined romans were repelled, in more ways than one, by the crude celts. they did, however, come back a year later with a much bigger, better-equipped army — and guess what — were repelled again.

Кельты обосновались на юге Англии, строя пепельные деревянные форты, которые бедные бритоголовые жители могли лишь проклинать в страхе и зависти. Теперь Англии не так уж плохо жилось в течении следующих нескольких сотен лет. (если вы были высоким, голубоглазым и светловолосым). Затем в 55 г до н.э. великий Юлий Цезарь – звезда сцены и экрана – прибыл с парой легионов из Рима, Италии. Утончённые римляне были отброшены, более, чем один раз, яростными кельтами. Они, тем не менее, вернулись спустя год с большей, лучше экипированной армией – и угадайте что – были отброшены снова.

5. Do not leave electrical appliances (iron, curling iron, hairdryer, etc.) connected to the network unattended. Even if they are off!

6. Before turning on the heating devices, place them on supports made of non-combustible materials.

7. Do not cover light bulbs and lamps with paper, cloth or other flammable materials.

1. The news about the school trip was exciting that the class could hardly concentrate on the textbook.
2. I was extremely worrying about my exam results and even refused to go on a trip untilni learned how i had done.
3. We have never been bored in our history class as our teacher is exceptionaly good.
4. The walk to the top of the mountain was quite tiring , but at the top we were rewarded with amazing views of the countryside around us.
5. The chance to study in Switzerland was really exciting , so Dina was surprised that nobody in her class could be bothered to apply for the scholarship.
6.Lena was complitely exhausted after the 800m race, but her time was encouraging and it was satisfying to know that even her coach was pleased.
7. It is disturbing, and it makes me personally quite depressed, how many teenagers seem to be only interested in computer games and other activities wich are mentally challenging and quite mindless in fact.
