Distant learning is when a child doesn’t go to school, but studies at home on his own or with the help of a tutor. It may be because of his health, or because his family travels a lot or for some other reasons. There are of course advantages of such learning – you can get concentrated on what you read and study, you have as much time as you need to understand the material.
