Times when people used to make only occasional trips and mostly stay in the same place have long since passed. Mobility is an essential part of modern life. The majority of people today move from place to place many times a day. They take buses and the underground for commuting and use trains to get to other towns and cities. Everybody is so accustomed to public transport that it would be difficult to imagine our life without it. Yet every boon has its downside. Let us take a closer look and investigate further the pros and cons of public transport.

On the one hand, public transport is a valuable asset and many people take it for granted. Distant locations would be virtually beyond reach without buses, the underground and trains. How could someone manage without a car? There are two options: walk or look for a private driver. The first option would take too long and the second could be very expensive, because prices are usually very high in the absence of competition. A good example is how, when accidents occur in the Moscow Metro, taxi drivers usually ask huge fees, because they know they have a temporary monopoly.

On the other hand, public transport has some minuses, too. The first is frequent overcrowding, which travelling by after bus and underground makes people tired and nervous, especially in cities, causing some of them to hate public transport. For example, in Moscow in the morning, it is really hard to get on buses or Metro trains; sometimes even small fights break out. The second is that traffic jams and accidents cause bus and tram delays. It is also very uncomfortable because public transport is, for many people, the only way to get to their destination. Once, in the Moscow Region, a problem with the railways meant that hundreds of people could not get to work on time and were several hours late.

To sum up, public transport gets people different places cheaply and fast. Of course, there are some drawbacks; after all, there is nothing perfect in this world. Even so, in my opinion, it is very important to value things even if you have done nothing yourself to obtain them. Public transport is one such thing.

There are many different public transport on our planet like bus, underground, train or minibus. All of them have their pluses and minuses, its depends. The reason why people use theses transports has only three ways. One of them is that people dont have their own money to buy their own transport, another way is that it to much traffic to use their own transport and the last reason is because the place where people want to travel is to far to use their own transport, so they use plane or train. But is it good to use public transport? For example lets take bus. The good thing about it is that you don't have to drive, well actually in each public traffic you don't have to drive. The bed thing about it (public transport ) is that you have to pay for you to not to drive. But do you get enough comfort for the money that you pay? Most people think that public transport costs to much especially minibus. Now, there are also some advantages about it: most of the car crashes happens because drivers are not attentive enough, where drivers of the public transport are driving very carefully and never hurry. As Russian saying says that slow and steady wins on going.
