Pushkin said that autumn is a “melancholy time”. In autumn the nature  slowly fades: flowers disappear, green grass turns into yellow and dries out and trees drop their leaves.

Sometimes it’s very sad to watch it happening but just like a famous Russian poet I do love autumn. The thing I like the most is when trees turn gold and everything in the parks and streets is covered with colorful leaves.

I like making herbaries and keeping some dry leaves in the books as a nice reminder of beautiful autumn days.
