In a small flat in a tiny town lived a Teddy Bear. He lived there with his mother Georgia, who worked as a nurse in a local hospital. The Teddy Bear was very kind and a bit shy. He had only one friend - Dolly the Doll. She was very cute, by the way, and the Teddy Bear admired her very much. Once she told him: 'Hey, Teddy, you've grown up and now you're 7! You should go to school and study some subjects in there'. The Teddy Bear doubted weather he needed the education as he hadn't ever felt uneducated. 'I don't want to go to school, Dolly, I enjoy spending my time with you and with my mother.'
However, after a while he liked the Dolly's suggestion. He found out that in the future he would need to pay for his living and for the food and other goods he would buy. So he realised that he needed a profession to gain money. And the only way to get a profession is to study for it. 'You were right, Dolly, - he said to her one day when they were sitting on the bench in the Town Park, - I should go to school. Now I'm 7 year old and I ought to start thinking about my future life.' The Dolly was pleased and was very proud of her friend.
And when autumn broke out, the Teddy Bear started attending the local school.

Now I am at school. My holiday is over. Сейчас я в школе. Мои каникулы закончились. I spent my holiday very well. I went out with my friends, read, listened to music, watched TV, played computer games. Я провела каникулы очень хорошо. Я гуляла с друзьями, читала, слушала музыку, смотрела телевизор, играла комп. игры.  I spent some weeks in a summer cottage with my grandparents. I helped my grandpa to dig the garden, to water plants, and to gather fruit and vegetables.Несколько недель я провела в деревне у бабушки. Я капать огород, поливать растения, собирать овощи и фрукты.  Also I was fishing with my grandpa. I enjoyed floating by boat, swimming in the river and helping my grandparents. Также я ходила на рыбалку с дедушкой. Мне понравилось плавать на лодке, плавать в реке и моим родным.  Some days I was in the Crimea. It was a great time. I swimmed, walked by seaside, and visited many sights. Несколько дней я была в Крыму. Было классно. Я плавала, гуляла по побережью и посела достопримечательности. During my summer holidays I made many new friends, read a lot of interesting books, got to know a lot of useful things. Now I feel ready to get back to school. I am happy to meet my friends and teachers. Во время каникул у меня появилось много новых друзей, я прочитала много интересных книг, узнала много интересных вещей. Сейчас я готова к учебе. Я очень рада видеть своих друзей и учителей.

Summer is coming and I’m looking forward to it. It’s my favourite season, of course, because the weather is great and you don’t have to go to school. After a long and difficult school year you get really tired of studies, so I’m going to enjoy my summer holidays and have much fun. I hope they will be as exciting as my last summer holidays were. I already have a lot of plans for them.

I would like to spend the first summer month in the country, at my grandparents’. My friends and cousins will be waiting for me there. I miss them so much. We shall go fishing, sunbathing, swimming, horse-riding and playing football. And I’m going to help my grandparents about the garden. So I will be outdoors all the time.

I can’t wait for July because our family will travel to the seaside. We shall stay in a rented house for 2 weeks. I really enjoy the clean air and the beautiful scenery with beaches and mountains near the warm sea. I am going to swim and dive a lot. And I want to try the national cuisine, rich in fruit, vegetables and fish.

As for August, I would like to stay in the city and spend the time with my friends walking around, going to the cinema and cafes, playing computer games. My dream is to sleep as much as I like and to do what I like. I will ride my bike, go skateboarding or roller-skating in the park.

I hope that the summer of 2018 will be the best summer in my life and I will start my new school year happy, suntanned and refreshed!
