Arthur came to the giant and told him the answer to his riddle. This made the giant angry as one woman suggested Arthur the answer and with this she betrayed the giant. Coming to the woodside Arthur saw that woman. The woman told Arthur that for her help he had to go back to Carlise then and give her in marriage to a brave knight.

Arthur's wife asked what had happened. Arthur told about the castle and the war as well as about the riddle, the answer to which he had managed to get with the help of one woman.
