The third winter holiday in Ukraine is Christmas. Christmas it's the birthday of Jesus Christ. We celebrate it on the 7th of January. We give presents to our parents and grandparents, sisters and brothers and send Christmas cards to our relatives and friends.
On the 6th of January all Ykrainian families have Christmas supper with 12 dishes. I like to cook dishes. My grandmother and grandfather helps me to served dishes. It is very good time to rest with my family. I'd want to eat Kutia every day because i like it.
I like all winter holidays very much.

Father of the late came home from work, took off my shoes, he flopped into a chair. Into the room came a son.
- Papa, can you have something to ask?
"Of course, what happened?
- Dad, and how much you get paid?
"It's none of your business! "said the father. - And then, why did this to you?
"I just want to know. Please, tell me, how much you get paid per hour?
"Well, actually, 500 an hour. And what is that?
"Dad... the son looked up at him very serious eyes. "Dad, can you take me 300?

But after a while he calmed down and began to talk sensibly: «Maybe he really something very important you need to buy. So to hell with them, with three hundred, he was still no one I have not asked for money». When he entered the nursery, his son was already in bed.
"You don't sleep, my son? "he asked.
"No, dad. Just lie there, " replied the boy.

The boy sat down on the bed and smiled.
"Oh, folder, thank you! "he said happily
Then he reached under the pillow and pulled out more crumpled bills. His father, when he saw that the boy already had money, angry again. And the little boy put all the money together, and carefully counted the bills, and then looked back at his father.
"Why did you ask for money, if they have you already are? "growled the other.
"Because I have had enough. But now I just have, " replied the child. - Dad, is exactly five hundred.
Can I buy one hour of your time? Please, come to work early tomorrow, I want you to dine with us.
P.S. I Want to remind you that life is too short to spend it all at work. Do not allow it to flow through his fingers. Pay at least a tiny fraction of Your life for those who really loves You, the closest people. If we tomorrow will not, our company very quickly replace us by someone else. And only for family and friends it would be really great loss, for which they will remember all their lives. Think about it, because we give the work a lot more time than the family

-Неправда. Я так не считаю.
-Почему? Ведь если ты будешь много читать, твоя речь станет лучше, а словарный запас будет пополняться с каждой прочитанной книгой.
-Это глупости. Ведь книги совсем неинтересны.
-А вот и неправда. Хорошая книга всегда будет превосходить просмотренный фильм.
-Почему же?
-Потому что читая книгу, ты фантазируешь, представляешь героев сам. Ждешь быстрее этих последних страничек.
-Но ведь фильм лучше.
-Глупости! Книги всегда были в моде. Вспомни времена, когда их только начинали печатать... каждый бы отдал многое, чтоб только ощутить эти страницы на своих пальцах.
-Модно? Книжки это разве модно?
-Вика, конечно! Я уверена, что любой человек знает такие фамилии, как Пушкин, Маяковский, Лермонтов
-Ну и что?
-Ну и то. Вот ты смржешь мне назвать хоть одну фамилию сценариста фильма?
-Ну...нет.
-Вот, это многое объясняет.
-Маша, может тогда ты посоветуешь мне что-нибудь почитать?
-Конечно, завтра сходим в библиотеку и выберем.
