The hospitality of the Ukrainian people is well-known throughout the world. In Ukraine guests are given lots of attention. If you are someone's house guest, your hosts will likely take you around town and show you the sights for several days. Traditional Ukrainian attitudes dictate that guests be well-fed and entertained for as long as they stay at your home. When a foreigner sets foot in Ukraine first he gets acquainted with national dishes.
Ukrainians just love to have guests over (especially on the West of Ukraine). It even doesn’t matter, if you decided to visit somebody in Ukraine absolutely randomly. In every case you will have a sincere reception. You will have a large selection of food in this house. A Ukrainian is even willing to share with you the last piece of bread in his home because you are his GUEST.
