                                    Family In Modern Society

Our life keeps changing all the time. It changes with inventions and discoveries, new cultural norms and new forms of communication. But one thing does not change — it is the importance of family.

In most traditional societies a family still means a a man and a woman who are married and most often have one or more children. There are some other types of families as well, but the basic idea is the same — a family is people who share goals and values, who love and support each other at all times. In my opinion every person needs to feel secure, to have someone who you can count on, whom you can share your problems with. What family means to me is love and someone that will always be there for you through the good times and the bad ones.

On the other hand, there are people who think they do not need any family at all. They want to enjoy their lives, their careers and spend their money on their needs only. I believe one of the reasons is that these people had unhappy childhood.

Our modern society needs families because we, human beings, need to belong, we do not like being lonely. As Paulo Coelho said: "The universe only makes sense when we have someone to share our feelings with". Friends come and go, but your family is always with you.

Наша жизнь постоянно меняется. Она меняется с изобретениями и открытиями, новыми культурными нормами и новыми формами общения. Но одно не меняется — это важность семьи.

В большинстве традиционных обществ под семьей по-прежнему подразумеваются мужчина и женщина, состоящие в браке и чаще всего имеющие одного или нескольких детей. Существуют и другие типы семей, но основная идея та же: семья — это люди, которые разделяют цели и ценности, которые всегда любят и поддерживают друг друга. По моему мнению, каждый человек должен чувствовать себя в безопасности, иметь кого-то, на кого вы можете рассчитывать, с кем вы можете поделиться своими проблемами. Для меня семья означает любовь и кого-то, кто всегда будет рядом с тобой в хорошие и плохие времена.

С другой стороны, есть люди, которые думают, что им вообще не нужна семья. Они хотят наслаждаться жизнью, карьерой и тратить деньги только на свои нужды. Я считаю, что одной из причин является то, что у этих людей было несчастное детство.

Наше современное общество нуждается в семьях, потому что мы, люди, испытываем потребность в принадлежности, нам не нравится быть одинокими. Как сказал Пауло Коэльо: «Вселенная обретает смысл лишь в том случае, когда нам есть с кем поделиться своими чувствами». Друзья приходят и уходят, но твоя семья всегда с тобой.
