Mother’s Day is a holiday honoring motherhood that is observed in different forms throughout the world. People celebrate Mother’s Day on the 14th of October in Belarus. It was officially established by the Belarusian government and it was celebrated for the first time in 1996. Although Mother’s Day is a working day, it is widely celebrated throughout the country. The day is marked with official ceremonies aimed at recognizing the significant role mothers play in Belarussian society. Traditionally people congratulate their mums. They give small presents and invite their mums at the café. Children make beautiful cards, prepare concerts for them and cook their favourite food. Sometimes they decorate their houses with balloons and spend time together.

I study at school.  My best teacher is [можешь написать имя своего учителя по английскому, или любого другого].  She is teaching [название урока который этот учитель преподает, например, English].  She is always smiling and kind to the students. Her friendly approach is very much liked by everyone in the class. She teaches very well and makes you understand the subject with fun learning. We are more involved in her class than any other subject classes. There is a lot of fun during her classes. She is also patient and easygoing when we are naughty in the class. She is very enthusiastic to teach and clears all our doubts whenever we ask questions in her classes. She does not scold or beat us in the class unnecessarily. But when we do wrong, she disciplines us and teaches us good behavior. She is very caring towards weak students and helps them in their studies even after class hours. We all like her very much and wish her to be taking classes for us every year.
