Actually, this college is one of the oldest educational institutions in the city and in russia. it was founded in 1877. at first it was simply a paramedic school. after the revolution the first soviet midwifery school was based here. in 1974 the school received the status of voronezh basic medical college. today, the college provides basic and advanced training in such specialties as dentistry, midwifery, paramedics, pharmacy, laboratory diagnosis, and some other branches. in addition, each year the college provides postgraduate training for nurses. i’m very proud to be a student of this college.
