1) Брюс знает немецкий язык с 5 лет. Он знает также еще два иностранных языка. Bruce has known German since he was 5. He also knows two more foreign languages.   
2)- Люди редко пользуются перьевыми ручками в наши дни. - Да что ты?! People seldom use fountain pens nowadays. – Really?
3) Я выучила оба языка - немецкий и французский, когда была маленькой. Но я не имела обыкновения часто говорить на них тогда. I have studied both languages- German and French when I was a child. But I didn’t use to speak them often then.
4) В то время, когда Роберт исследовал южные границы штата, его жена ждала его дома. At the time Robert was exploring southern state lines, his wife was waiting for him at home.

6)- Ты очень хорошо говоришь по-английски. Как давно ты знаешь его? - Я знаю его 5 лет. Я выучил его, когда жил в Австралии. You speak English very well. How long have you known it? I have known it for 5 years. I have learnt it when I lived in Australia.
