Поставити 10 питань до тексту battle of the bands this is the national battle of the bands contest. all of the bands have played, and in a moment we are going to hear the result of the contest. the two finalists are dixie chickens and technocrat .all of the members of technocrat are from philadelphia. they're on the left — all of them are wearing black suits and silver shirts. all of the members of dixie chickens are from atlanta, georgia. none of them are wearing suits. the announcer is tina rivera. she’s standing with one of the members of dixie chickens and one of the members of technocrat .both of them are guitarists. neither of them has been on tv before. both of them are nervous and neither of them is smiling! now the judges have voted, and tina has announced the result .dixie chickens have won the contest! all of them are smiling. the members of technocrat aren't happy. none of them are smiling. some of the people in the audience are cheering, but some of them are booing. some of them preferred dixie chickens but some of them preferred technocrat. the prizes are great — both of the bands are going to get record contracts.

Everyone 1) had been looking forward to the school picnic for weeks before it took place.

The students 2) had organised the games a week before and parents 3) prepared the food on the motning of the picnic.

We 4) were having a wonderful time when suddenly it 5) started to rain.

We all 6) got completely soaked, and it 7) was turned out to be the worst picnic we 8) had ever had.

B. Helen 1) has been living in England for the past two years, but she 2) still has some problems with the language. Every time she 3) tries to speak, she is afraid she 4) will make a mistake. Most people who 5) learns a foreigh language may feel this way. The best thing to do is to keep talking.

First of all I want to tell you that my best friend's name is Irina and she is 17. She is the best person I have ever met.

A few  words about her appearance. Her height is nearly 159 cm. But she'd like to be a bit taller. Well, she is not slim but she is not fat either. 

Irina has a round face as everyone has, a bit long nose and big cheerful grey eyes. Her skin is a bit pale but she likes this fact, she doesn't like ruddy faces. She has no freckles as my friend Nina has. Her forehead is open. I think Irina has a charming smile. 

Her hair isn't very short but it's not long either. It is straight and black. Iuina has rich hair.

I think that she looks like her father.

Irina is very active and creative, cheerful and curious. But the best thing is that she is reliable. We spend much time together. We go for a walk, we play tennis, watch TV, do things which we like.

I love my friend.

 

 

Прежде всего, я хочу сказать вам, что мою подруг зовут Ирина и ей 17. Она самый лучший чловек, которого я когда-либо встречала.

Несколько слов об ее внешности. Её рост около 159 см. Но она хотела бы быть немного выше. Ну, она не худенькая, но и не толстая.
У Ирины круглое лицо, как и у всех, немного длинный нос и большие радостные серые глаза. Ее кожа немного бледная, но ей это нравится, она не любит румяные лица. У  нее нет веснушек как у моей подруги Нины. Ee лоб открытый.  Я думаю, у Ирины очаровательная улыбка.

Ее волосы не очень короткие, но это не длинные. Они прямые и  черные. У нее густые волосы.
Я думаю, что она похожа на своего отца.

Ирина очень активная и творческая, жизнерадостная и любознательная. Но самое главное - она надежная. Мы проводим много времени вместе. Мы ходим гулять, играем в теннис, смотрим телевизор, делаем вещи, которые нам нравятся.

Я люблю мою подругу.
