)it's funny thing with the summer holidays .when you think about them in june, they seem endless and give rise to great expectations ; i'll learn a couple of language , lose a couple of pounds and learn to play the guitar , you promise yourself , and there is nothing wrong with being that optimistic .however , by the end of august you realise that the summer is gone , and you haven't done much of what you had planned.

интересная вещь эти летние каникулы. когда ты думаешь о них в июне, то они кажутся бесконечными и ты многого от них ждешь; я выучу несколько языков, сброшу несколько фунтов и научусь играть на гитаре.  ты все это обещаешь себе и нет ничего плохого в том, чтобы быть оптимистом. однако к концу августа ты понимаешь, что лето закончилось, а ты не сделала  почти ничего из запланированного.

Well,i'd like to tell you about my first day at school. it was a great day, as i always wanted to become a schoolboy/schoolgirl. that day my mother took me to school for the first time. there i met a lot of new friends. i liked my first teacher very much as she was very kind to all of us. she told us a lot of interesting things and explained that from that day on we were schoolchildren. she told us about some important rules. but not only we listened to her, we also spoke and told her about ourselves. when the first lesson was over we went to the schoolyard and played different games. i liked my first day at school very much.
