"Кто-то поднимается на гору",сказала волчица-мать,подёргивая ухом. "Приготовься". Кусты в чаще слегка зашумели,и волк-отец присел на задние лапы,готовясь к прыжку. "Человек!",щёлкнул зубами он."Человеческий детёныш. Смотри!" Прямо перед ним,держась за нижнюю ветку,стоял голый смугленький ребёнок,едва научившийся ходить. Он смотрел в морду волка-отца и улыбался. "И это человеческий детёныш?",спросила волчица-мать. "Я никогда их не видела. Принеси-ка его сюда". Волк,привыкший носить своих собственных детёнышей,мог при необходимости принести в пасти яйцо,не разбив его,потому хотя челюсти волка-отца захлопнулись прямо на спине малыша,ни один зуб не поцарапал кожу,когда он положил его к волчатам.

It happened last August at the airport. A few weeks before, a group of us had decided to go to Greece together for a holiday. We were waiting in the queue at passport control when suddenly I realized that I had forgotten my passport. It was quite a shock. I hurried to a phone and rang my parents. They were working in the garden, but luckily my mother heard the phone. They found the passport and immediately drove to the airport with it. I met them at the information desk. We had no time to talk, but I had said goodbye to them earlier that morning. I ran all the way to the plane. I was just in time. When I got there, the passengers were sitting in their seats ready for take-off. When they saw me, everyone started clapping.
