Перевести in the 18th century the russian government sent vitus bering to explore the lands behind russia.on one of his voyages bering discovered the strait, which separates north america from asia. it is now named after the discoverer. on a later voyage bering saw the mainland of north america. this discovery made in 1741 gave russia its right to alaska. bering died before he could take the good news back to russia. but alexei chirikov and some other men of bering’s expedition came back. the russians explored the north american continent as far north as the arctic ocean. others made settlements or built trading posts as far south as northern california. not long before george washington became president of the usa the russians made a settlement in alaska. for more than 100 years trade was carried on between russia and alaska. in 1867 the usa bought alaska. it paid russia a little more than seven million dollars for it. alaska is the largest of all the states of the usa. it is almost one fifth of the american territory. alaska is rich in minerals. there are large forests there, many animals and much fish.

Беринг умер, так и не успев передать хорошие новости России. Но Алексей Чириков и ещё несколько других мужчин, вернулись из Беринговой экспедиции. Россияне исследовали континент Северной Америки дальше, на севере, и дошли до Арктического Океана. Другие создали там населённые пункты и, построили торговые посты южнее от северной Калифорнии. Незадолго до того, как Джордж Вашингтон стал Президентом США, Россияне создали населённые пункты в Аляске. Уже более 100 лет, торговля велась между Россией и Аляской. В 1867 году, США купила Аляску. Она заплатила России чуть больше, чем семь миллионов долларов за неё. Аляска является одним из крупнейших штатов США. Она практически составляет одну пятую часть Американской территории. Аляска очень богата минералами. В ней есть крупные леса, много животных и много рыбы.

I will finish school. I will enter a university. I will have higher education. I will find a good well-paid and interesting job. I will travel a lot. I will have my family. We will spend our weekends in the country or abroad. I will visit many countries. I will see a lot of interesting places. I will visit different museums, galleries, cinemas, theaters.   I will learn English.  I will buy a good car. I will buy a good big flat. I will learn cooking. I will cook for my family.  I will be happy. 

I think that one of the most difficult things is to plan one's own future. But a person may suppose what he or she would like to do in the near future. I have not decided about my future profession yet. Life is quite difficult now, but I want to have an interesting job. I would like my work to be connected with different countries and people. Id like to communicate with people at my work. I also hope to enter some high educational establishment and gain more knowledge and more friends. My another dream is to learn to operate the computer. Perhaps I will attend some computer classes. I will also improve my command of English. I realize that the knowledge of the language is very important nowadays. I hope to spend more time with my family, especially with my grandparents. They are getting older, so they need more care and help now. And I hope I will have enough time for my favourite music and my old friends. I cant imagine my future life without them.
