Спереводом. i was born in newcastle, a city in the north-east of england. newcastle is on the banks of the river tyne. it is quite big, with a population of about 200, 000 people. there is a cathedral and a univeristy. there are five bridges over the river tyne, (a) link newcastle to the next town, gateshead, (b) there is one of the biggest shopping centres in the world, the metro centre. a few years ago, the main industries were shipbuilding and coalmining, but now the chemical and soap industries are more important. i moved from newcastle ten years ago but i often return. i miss the people, c) are so warm and friendly, and i miss the wild, beautiful countryside near the city, (d) there are so many hills and streams. people (e) are born near the river tyne have a special name. they are called ‘geordies’. i am very pleased to be a ‘geordie’!

Я родился в Ньюкасл, в городе на северо-востоке Англии. Ньюкасл стоит на берегу реки Тайн. Он довольно большой, население около 200 тыс. чел. Там есть собор и университет. Также есть 5 мостов через реку Тайн, (they или it скорее всего тут должно быть) соединяют Ньюкасл с соседним городом, Гейтсхедом, . Есть/Там есть один из самых больших в мире торговых центров - Метро.  Несколько лет назад основ. отраслями были судостроение и добыча угля, но сейчас хим. промышленность и мыловарение более важны для города.  Я переехал из Нбюкасла 10 лет назад, но Я часто возвращаюсь. Я скучаю по людям (скорее всего слово которые пропущено which) такие дружелюбные и сердечные, а еще по дикой и красивой (живописной) местности около города,  там много холмов и ручьев. 
Люди, (who которые) рождаются около реки Тайн имеют особенные имена.  Они зовутся "Джорджи". И я очень рад быть "Джорджи"!
